Coaching Model: The Rainbow

2016/03/30

A Coaching Model Created by Susanne Schmitz
(Life Coach, UNITED STATES)

Coaching Model Course Outcome

Life Coaching Model Susanne Schmitz 1My goal is to work as a life coach with the focus of sports and international changes/difficulties.

I want to empower my clients on the way to reach a sports goal. To be on their side to motivate them to remember them on what a great way they are and to give them the awareness that they can reach all whatever they want with their own energy and with their own will.

Also important for me is to coach clients which have an international change to manage in case of moving to a new country or to work with colleagues with a different nationality or culture.

My model is the rainbow model, which is created to get self-confidence and empower the client on their way to reach a goal or to get a problem/difficulties/changes solved and managed.

The Rainbow Coaching Model

Life Coaching Model Susanne Schmitz 2.My coaching model is created for people who are standing in front of a big challenge that has to be or want to be achieved. The model fits also for clients, which have a difficult situation to manage. In the moment when the client feels stuck, this model can help the client to remember the own strengths and to face stronger their goal or to get a difficult situation easier solved with self-confidence and motivation.

The rainbow model works like this:

First the client will describe the challenge and the „new“ what is in front of him or where he is stuck, what difficulties he has.

With a short view into the past, I want to achieve that the client gets the acknowledgment, what he is able to do and to create, also to give him the awareness where are coming his strengths from that makes him unique. The step into the past should make him strong and aware how fare he came until now and how he has managed challenges in the past. The awareness of his strengths should show him that the strengths first weren’t so pronounced like in the present. With the time the strengths get stronger and are going over to the normal life.

When the client starts to see and accept all his strengths and positives sites, he will go stronger and with more self-confidence into the new challenge. The rainbow model is for me very powerful and future orientated with the awareness from the past.

Life Coaching Model Susanne Schmitz 3Rainbow stands for these important things, which make you strong:

Life Coaching Model Susanne Schmitz 3.1R Responsible

The client is the own responsible from his life and his actions. When the client gets the awareness that only he is the leader from his life and he has in his hands where he will go, it gives him self-confidence and the power to concentrate more on his own strengths.

A Awareness

The awareness about your strengths, about the real problem what bothers the client helps him to solve his problems on his own. Awareness also gives the client power and makes him strong.

I Improvement

To know and understand that not all or everybody is perfect and that you learn your whole life and it never stops to improve is a big skill. Sometimes your way to achieve a goal or to get a solution of a problem is right but it needs some kind of improvement to be really powerful.

N Notable

Every person is notable on his own way, on his own style. The client should be aware for his notably. Like a coach I want to help him to see and be aware that the client also is notable and unique.

B Believing

To believe in yourself, to believe in your goal and to believe what you can do than you can achieve what you really want to is very important.

O Outstanding

Everybody can be outstanding and is unique, you only have to find it and get aware of it than it makes you strong and give you self-confidence.

W Wisdom

The wisdom to know yourself as the best is one of the most important skills, because only you can change yourself and give your life new directions. And when you have the wisdom you can control yourself on the best way.
