A Coaching Model Created by Payal Rajaratnam
(Executive Coach, INDIA)

Executive Coaching Model Payal Rajaratnam

Overview

Momentum: A force that keeps an object moving or keeps an event developing after it has started.

Individuals need momentum in their thought and action in order to move forward and achieve results. Coaching is a force that creates momentum propelling individuals ahead, in order for them to achieve their vision and goals. A vibrant energy field is created by the coach, where goals are defined and redefined, awareness is heightened, options are explored and energizing action steps are taken.

Successful coaching happens when the coach is able to sustain the momentum at a pace that the client finds adequately challenging, stimulating and motivating.

Staying on course creates game changing results for the client.

The Model

Executive Coaching Model Payal Rajaratnam 1Goals & Vision: The Energy Field

The act of defining goals is giving them energy by focusing on them and what they mean to the client. In this field of energy, clarifying the client’s goals helps to steer coaching in the right direction.

There are two type of goals: The overall goal, what the client wants to achieve through coaching and the session goals.

Once we know what we want to achieve, exploring our current reality and landscape gives us awareness on where we are.

This is a pause period as we reflect on our inner selves, our environment and relationships. Our awareness will open the doors to learning pathways.

Our emotions, beliefs, thought patterns and conditioning can create a veil that can sometimes prevent us from seeing our truths.

Their awareness and how they impact us, can lift this veil and suddenly things become clear and we have powerful insights that lead to shifts in perspective.
