What Do You Want to Be When You Grow Up?

Grow Up Maria Stefansdottir_Coaching_Research_Paper

A Research Paper By Maria Stefansdottir
Executive Coach, ICELAND

What do you want to be when you grow up? As a kid, who hasn’t been asked this question a million times? It may appear simple and obvious that everyone should know what they are passionate about and skilled at, but this response is not the case. It’s actually quite complicated. Whatever people are looking for, they will find it within themselves. They must, however, be willing to embark on the adventure to discover it. The coach can assist the client in discovering who they really are, which is frequently quite different from who they have become. In between sessions, if the client is still looking for their calling, the coach can suggest exercises that he or she has successfully completed for himself.

HAPPY

HAPPY Executive Coaching Model Maria Stefansdottir

A Coaching Model By Maria Stefansdottir
Executive Coach, ICELAND

My coaching model is called “HAPPY.” The model is based on positive psychology concepts and methods. Its goal is to assist people in living meaningful lives, utilizing their skills, and realizing their full potential. The concept is intended to assist clients in visualizing “their future selves,” the person they want to become, and the ambitions they want to realize, not just as professionals but in general. On the first page, a sad-looking person looks in the mirror at her/his future self as the person she/he wishes to become.

Red Light, Green Light Coaching Model Dennis Carpio

A Coaching Model By Dennis Carpio,
Executive Coach, AUSTRALIA

Help your clients move forward with their questions or concerns using the Red Light Green Light Coaching Model. The two-part framework will assist your customers in gaining clarity about their predicament or problem (the Red Light) as well as fresh information about themselves, and their situation in order to move forward (the Green Light). The model is based on the South Korean children’s game “Red Light, Green Light,” which became extremely popular in 2021 because of Netflix’s big hit show “Squid Game” (Dong-Hyuk, 2021). This model will not include any of the show’s violence, but it will be based on the first episode of the show, “Red Light, Green Light.”

How to Effectively Coach Millennial Leaders

2022/04/29

Millennial Leaders Dennis Carpio_Coaching_Research_Paper

A Research Paper By Dennis Carpio
Executive Coach, AUSTRALIA

This paper focuses on millennial leaders or people who have led a group of people to accomplish a goal or are in charge of an organization. We’ll discuss characteristics that distinguish them from other generational cohorts or groupings. Why millennials specifically? In the next five years, millennials will make up a significant portion of the workforce. A one-size-fits-all approach to coaching leaders from various generational groups is ineffective. Knowing the generational differences in ideas and actions could make the difference between outstanding and poor coaching outcomes.

Reward vs. Punishment Dennis Carpio_Coaching_Tool

A Coaching Power Tool By Dennis Carpio
Executive Coach, AUSTRALIA

We’ve all been there. Life can be painful at times. When my clients face a hard patch in their career or personal lives, it’s common for them to get caught in a bad psychological and emotional state. They believe they are being punished, and they are at times convinced of this. Here’s a strategy coaches may use to assist their clients to move from a Reward vs. Punishment mindset, so they can find meaning and reward even in the most trying of circumstances. My duty as a coach is not to provide them with solutions to their problems, but rather to assist them in better understanding their current circumstances and themselves.

Success vs. Fulfillment Manuel Guerreiro_Coaching_Tool

A Coaching Power Tool By Manuel Guerreiro
Life Coach, PORTUGAL

As a coach, we must help our clients understand the true nature of their motivation, as well as the specifics of their interests and desires, in order to ensure that their uniqueness is recognized. You will enable our client to create a shift in consciousness and the prospect of seeing things in a new light by first helping him identify and acknowledge his values, perceptions, and beliefs about what it means to be successful. It’s about expanding his horizons and demonstrating a wider range of options. Success vs. Fulfillment, to help clients reframe this story and empower clients to take control of their own destiny.

Progress vs. Perfection

2022/03/10

Progress vs. Perfection Serena Truong_Coaching_Tool

A Coaching Power Tool By Serena Truong
Executive Coach, SINGAPORE

This paper Progress vs. Perfection explores the philosophy that as coaches, we should help our clients recognize that making progress is more essential than making progression, as well as the problems that our clients may go through if they are fixated on obtaining perfection before moving forward in their journey. Perfectionists are common among top performers. Not all perfectionists, however, are great performers. The distinctions between a high achiever and a perfectionist are significant. Both high achievers and perfectionists have a tendency to create and strive for lofty goals. A perfectionist, on the other hand, is someone who strives compulsively and unceasingly for unreachable goals and refuses to accept anything less than perfection.
