Career Coaching Model Kellie Lynch-600x352

A Coaching Model Created by Kellie Lynch
(Career Coach, UNITED STATES)

A little background: I personally struggled for a long time to find the positive in almost anything. I was beaten down, tired, a “negative Nancy” and drowning my pain to try and feel numb. I literally woke up one day and truly just decided I NEVER wanted to feel this way ever again and began daily making little changes that eventually built up to larger changes and then ultimately huge life-altering changes. Through this time frame, I dropped a lot of “dead weight” and those that stuck around began seeing a change and asked me how I had turned my life around. Which has since, lead me to become a coach and having a passion to help others navigate their wants and desires for big life changes and attaining their goals. I focus on helping women with career coaching for those either returning to the workforce after being a stay at home mom or just needing some time away or even those working who are looking for a total change or their next promotion. My second focus is on helping women navigate big life decisions. Many of us have big crazy scary dreams but do not know how to tackle them, that’s where I have come in.

“Life is Already Crazy, Let Me Help You Find the BEAUTY”

B: The Breakdown

E: Explore the Possibilities’

A: Take Action

U: Get Uncomfortable

T: Tie it all Together

Y: Your Best Life

This is my personal coaching model. My clients are women, typically aged 18-45, going through transitional life moments, and women focusing on their career. Whether that be changing careers, figuring out where their passion lies or going back to the workforce after time away, I can help you navigate them all. I developed my Coaching Model based on my company’s “motto” above, “Life is Already Crazy, Let Me Help You Find the BEAUTY!” Life is full of constant changes, new experiences (some good, some bad), and consistently trying to find “balance”. I personally do not believe “balance” exists. You will never see a time where everything is perfectly aligned and two things balance at 50% or four things balance at 25%. It’s more so about finding peace and understanding during the imbalance and transforming that “crazy” into something where you can find the “beauty”. I am not trying to help you balance everything all at once or give you some type of master secret on how to align everything equally. However, that being said, my goal is to help you break down your walls and view your current situation with a new lens of positivity and then work together on how to make the changes you want in your life become a reality instead of just an idea or a dream.

BEAUTY Coaching Model:

B– The Breakdown

The breakdown consists of my client and I discuss exactly what’s going on. This includes reviewing a questionnaire together discussing their goals, dreams, daily routine, what motivates them, scares them, the type of support system they do or do not have, desired outcomes and anything else they find prevalent for me to know.

E– Explore the Possibilities

During this stage, I like my client to work with visualization. Discuss what could happen if they set those fears aside. What could happen if they stopped caring what others thought etc? During this time we are taking the information learned during “The Breakdown” and forming a more concrete vision of what the goal truly is that they are trying to accomplish and what needs to be done to get there.

A– Take Action

MAKE MOVES! This is the fun part where we begin taking everything we visualized and discussed and begin figuring out which actions could be put in place to start making the visualization, a reality.

U– Get Uncomfortable

Action sounds great until it becomes difficult. Once it becomes difficult it’s usually where clients begin to struggle and lose some of their motivation. My goal here is to work with them and make them realize that part of growing is being uncomfortable and that it is completely okay to feel a little out of their element. I talk through their doubts with them and refocus them to their goal and the task at hand.

T– Tie it All Together

At this stage, everything is finally starting to come together for my client. They are getting past their fears, have faced their doubts and have put their actions in motion. During my time coaching “Take Action & Get Uncomfortable” are usually revisited throughout the coaching experience to ultimately help my client to find habits and create behaviours that promote reaching their end goal.

Y– Your Best Life

Time to reevaluate and reflect on the habits they have created, their new way of thinking and the progress they have made. Deciding whether to move forward with coaching or if they feel they have the tools to move forward on their own and ultimately Live Their BEST Life!
