Reframe the Values Towards the Situation: The GERA Coaching Model
When creating the coaching model, the objective is to help an individual identify their situation clearly and deepen. The crucial part is to provide space for individuals to have self-reflection because nowadays in the busy world, people are working fast pace or under pressure. In reality, there is no such space to have self-reflection or pamper ourselves. Provide space to have individual clarity and reframe the values towards the situation.

Goal
Goal is important in the coaching process, it helps us determine what we want to achieve and guide our actions. They let us know where we should go and help us focus our attention and resources. Clear goals help us know exactly what we want to achieve, which provides clear focus and direction. They allow us to focus our energies and resources, avoid distractions, and focus on what’s important. A clear goal may help the coach ask appropriate questions during the coaching process and check the expected outcome with the coachee before ending the coaching session.
Explore
The process of exploration definitely needs space to help the individual walkthrough or process the self-discovery. Exploration can also help the person to understand themselves better. Exploring different perspectives can enlighten their insight. Opportunities may be discovered during this process. This process helps individual spend time to recall their memories or restructure their thoughts.
Reframe
The reframing process is about adjusting the ways of thinking and perspectives to gain clearer and more effective thinking and problem-solving skills. This realignment of thinking can help the individual look beyond established limitations and fixed patterns and see things in a more creative and flexible way. Here are a few important aspects of reframing:
Challenging the previous perspectives: reframing helps rethink by challenging and examining the pre-existing perspectives and beliefs. Things, but actively questioning and exploring the deeper causes and possibilities.
Thinking in Diversity: Reframing encourages individuals to look at problems and situations from multiple perspectives. This includes thinking from different perspectives, area perspectives, etc.
Through multiple thinking, we are able to gain a more comprehensive understanding and more solutions.
The reframing process can help to come up with new ideas or solutions instead of limited thinking.
Action
Action is very important to implement the goals. It is necessary to have a clear and specific plan, timeline, and directions to apply to it. Of course, self-management is crucial to make sure the action will be taken. Review and follow up on the planned actions with the coach so as to motivate the coach to apply.
The GERA Coaching Model Clarity Process
Overall coaching process needs to have space and questions to inspire the coachee to rethink and reframe, to go through the process of clarity. The coachee may somehow experience complicated or contradictory thinking, they may have directions, however, it is important to go through the clarity process to reframe or help them harmonize their thoughts.
