How to Begin Your Coaching Journey
You are happy with who you are and what you have done so far, nevertheless you would like to go for more!
As part of a bigger system, you want to make a contribution to positively affect the unfolding of the whole.
As your coach, I am going to be a sounding board.
Trust is the basis of any positive relationship we will work together to build the trust we need to support your journey. All our conversations are confidential. If at any point you are feeling forced to say or do something, please let me know, you are in charge of the process.
It is true, I want you to feel completely free and comfortable. Anyhow as we are talking about moving forward I will once and again present you with new perspectives that may be challenging. Growth only happens when we stretch ourselves.
In order to move forward, you will be asked to envision the future you desire to create. Throughout the process, you will benefit from the creative tension that grows from a growing awareness of both the current reality and the desired future.
In the end, it is all about what we do to make things happen, therefore on top of our sessions to reflect, you will be continuously asked to engage in actions of your own choice.

The journey starts with navigating your own preferences. The discovery process may include assessing your goals, values, motives, cultural orientations, personality type, beliefs and assumptions, skills, etc.
You will be offered a wide range of tools that will give you a first guess of what your preferences are. These results will be the starting point of a dialogue in which I will support you in unfolding what they mean to you. No assessment is compulsory but they are recommended ice-breakers. The tools to be used depend very much on your needs and choice and of course professional ethical guidelines.
Once we feel comfortable with your level of self-awareness we will explore other perspectives that could support you.
Exploring broadens our views and may lead us to revisit our preferences. This is not a linear road, we may want to discover more, to navigate through subjects we have not considered at the beginning. It is true that although we may revisit what we had already “discovered” we’ll do it with completely fresh eyes.
After discovering your own and exploring other perspectives you will see opportunities for development. Whether personal all collective development, we will focus on what your opportunities are.
You will enjoy making your choices and developing plans in order to achieve the goals you will set.
Again, although not circular nor linear, the road starts with defining some goals you want to achieve, the previous steps will certainly open new opportunities and you will have the choice to go for the future you envision.
At this point, you are enjoying so much your vision of the future so you cannot wait to act.
Every session and your whole coaching journey end with some actions you want to implement in order to progress in your journey. As Mahatma Gandhi said, “ we must be the change we want to see in the world”.
My role will be to support you the way you would trust me to build and implement your action/change plan.
