An insight into the approach based on ICF competencies, Model & Tools used
Over a period of 4 months these sessions were a combination of Face to Face & Skype with duration of an hour each. The relationship built slowly as the trust was built easily & the opening up happened very smoothly. The focus on the goals was not lost & each session had a specific take away making the client accountable for action created.
The Coaching Model used was the GROW model.
Goals: Clearly outlined by Kalpana & therefore mapping the progress was very successfully done.
Reality: Powerful Questions, Challenging Kalpana making her understand where exactly she was facing her challenge & how to counter them.
Options: Deciding the options that were identified by Kalpana, was able to move forward. She selected those competencies & tools, which helped her, achieve her outlined goals.
Work plan : Kalpana has had an amazing commitment. Her accountability has helped her understand what is important & even decide the next course of action. Her journey has begun & with her commitment. The difference she knows lies completely with her. She has decided to move forward.
