Adding Coaching to an Agile Consulting Practice

2022/07/06

Agile Consulting Lynn Winterboer_Coaching_Case_Study

A Coaching Case Study By Lynn Winterboer
Agile Coach, UNITED STATES

Since I’ve been an “Agile Coach” for ten years, several other ICA students have questioned me about the definition of the term. This “Adding Coaching to an Agile Consulting Practice” case study uses two real-world examples of employees who were apprehensive about their new job to show how I integrated coaching into my agile consulting practice. I am incredibly appreciative of my company’s support in allowing me to enroll in the ICA Vocational Coach Training program, and I am looking forward to changing more of my interactions from “consulting” to “coaching” so I may assist more people in determining what is best for them.

Pressure and Anxiety Tatiana Mitroi_Coaching_Case_Study

Coaching Case Study By Tatiana Mitroi
Personal Coach, SWITZERLAND

Miranda reached out to me after hearing from her friends that they had a “great coaching experience” in just one session. She didn’t know much about coaching or how it could benefit her, but she had heard that it had helped some of her friends. Her friends didn’t say much about their coaching experience aside from the fact that it was beneficial to them. They suggested she try coaching after hearing her talk about the various Pressure and Anxiety challenges she faced.

Coaching Women to Set Boundaries

Set Boundaries Raluca Hutanu_Coaching_Research_Paper

A Coaching Case Study By Raluca Hutanu
Transformational Coach, SPAIN

Every client moves at their own rate, and the coaching process cannot be rushed. Patience and realism are essential. The coaching process will be more solid and fluid if the course is broken down into smaller chunks and assessed what the client can accomplish in the time between sessions. It’s critical to provide more time between sessions if needed. As a coach, selecting clients who are a good fit for you helps to create trust and produce outcomes. Lara and I have similar personalities, so we’d be at ease in our sessions together. Also, she is aware that I, too, struggled with establishing Set Boundaries in my relationships. This fact gave her the assurance that I was trustworthy.

Coaching Schools – Newark Schools Extend Learning Through Coaching

Coaching Schools Robin Yate_Coaching_Case_Study

A Coaching Case Study By Robin Yates
Mental Fitness Coach, UNITED STATES

The act of writing this Coaching Schools case study reminded me of the need for planning. Setting one’s own aim for an engagement, considering what might be valuable, and being ready to pivot based on where the client may lead you are all examples of this. Efficient preparation necessitates the application of the same coaching skills that we use with our clients on ourselves. Now, I’m imaging successful sessions, posing tough questions to myself, anticipating roadblocks, and inventing strategies to hold myself accountable. As the old phrase goes, “Physician, heal thyself.” Self-coaching is exactly what the doctor ordered in this case.

Undermining Authority Ghadeer Alsulami_Coaching_Case_Study

A Coaching Case Study By Ghadeer Alsulami
Transformational Coach, SAUDI ARABIA

During an undermining authority case study coaching session, a client’s problem may morph into another problem. Because a client may not be aware of the true problem, a coach’s ability to use a non-directive approach while asking the proper questions is crucial. Helping people understand themselves is more important than helping them solve problems because it enables them to solve problems.
