Clarifying the niche on which I feel the most confident to lay my coaching orientation has been a long journey. Since day one I registered with ICA, self-exploration has started. I did carry a burden of confusion, concern, and doubt back then, yet as proceeding with the process, I’ve learned to slow down to retrospect and reflect, filled with growing peace and calm. Here I share my motivational coaching model. It might not have the fanciest name, but it’s practically empowered by my takeaways from a whole lot of experience of learning and training, coaching, and being coached.

Self-Discover – Break the water surface to discover the real currents underneath.
Explore multi-level of oneself. Link the phenomenon on the surface and the reason/value supporting it underneath. You are the only one who can persuade yourself to dive deep with possible repelling or embarrassment and to ascend back with the reason/driver to make changes to the status quo.
Reframe– Revisit mistakes or regrets through new lenses.
You should hold on to the firm belief of who you are and who you want to be. You see the situation with new perspectives. Mistakes or regrets are no longer the source of frustration but the trigger of inspiration.
Improve – Pave the way to better off and away from hesitation or uncertainties.
Realizing what the barriers are standing between you and the goal, work on every single step to move forward. Take off the burden, untangle the limitations, and equip yourself with the new learnings from the exploration.
Validate – A state of completion and optimization.
Validate the reflections and new learnings using accountability and translate them into part of the values. Replace the beliefs that work against the goal with the new ones. Authenticity and genuineness empower the forward-looking mindset.
Escalate – Release the potential to realize transformation and growth.
Stay present and re-organize the resources at hand. Release the energy covered by limitations in the past to shine a light for future transformation and growth. Hold on to the expectation and get ready to celebrate!
