If Peter has confidence, he will feel positive feeling and act upon it with enthusiasm. When he believes in himself, he can unleash his full potential and success in new job position.
If Peter feel worry, he will overwhelmed with negative feeling and struggle with many negative thoughts in his mind. And finally, he may be fail in a new job position even if his actual performance is exceed the requirement of that job position.
In our life, we have many similar situations, like Peter. Sometimes, we get happy problems. Sometimes, we face challenging situations. Or, sometimes we are absolute lucky. Whatever it happen in our life, we always can choose the ways of thinking that can empower us or the negative one.
Most of us know that empowering perspectives are good for us. However, it is so difficult to see positive perspectives when we are in negative perspectives.
Then, the most interesting question is: how can we change perspective from worry to confidence? There are many techniques that can help us.
- Think from the worst situation and try to make it better. When we think we are in the worst situation, we cannot go down anymore. Then, try to find out the way to improve. This technique will help us to feel positive feeling.
- Affirmation. We can create our affirmations to boost our confidence level. By saying to ourselves repeat, it will make us feel more empowering.
- Visualization. We visual ourselves that we are success in that situation. When we do, we can change our thoughts to the positive one.
- Act it now. When we feel worry, we are not moving forward.
By doing it now, it will change our states. When we did it, we will feel it is easier than we thought about it before.
