Expectation vs. Opportunity

Expectation vs. Opportunity Miranda Meng_Coaching_Tool

A Coaching Power Tool By Miranda Meng
Leadership Coach, TAIWAN

Perspectives have an impact on people. I developed a power tool Expectation vs. Opportunity to assist clients in changing their perspective from one of expectation to opportunity. This tool does not advise that we let go of all our expectations. Instead, it serves as a reminder to be more mindful and make the most of the times when our expectations are not met. This fact not only creates opportunities for us to turn our setbacks into ways to achieve our goals, but it also creates opportunities for us to better understand ourselves and others. In the process, we’ll make sure that the scenario we’re in is objective, discover what other stakeholders think and feel, and maybe work together to create something better together.

“Aninsideout” Journey to Innovation in Cross-Culture Work Environment

Insideout Leadership Coaching Model Miranda Meng

A Coaching Model By Miranda Meng
Leadership Coach, TAIWAN

Client willingness is the foundation of coaching because every client has different needs. I meticulously customize my coaching sessions to each client’s specific needs. In my coaching sessions, I put a lot of effort into facilitating natural discourse without leading clients on a path they don’t necessarily want to go. Likewise, I believe it is my responsibility as a coach to help clients achieve their own goals, not assign them to me or set them. To demonstrate my Insideout Coaching Model, I try to generalize a few crucial ideas and procedures.

Appreciating Differences: Leveraging Innovation in Cross-cultural Work Environments

Appreciating Differences Miranda Meng_Coaching_Research_Paper

A Research Paper By Miranda Meng
Leadership Coach, TAIWAN

Members of a cross-cultural workplace provide a variety of viewpoints, attitudes, beliefs, information, skills, and historical perspectives to an organization. Innovation might benefit from this diversity. However, having a varied membership in a corporation does not automatically lead to innovation. Appreciating differences may present a chance for the business to use diversity to spur innovation. Appreciating differences encourages companies to innovate. Businesses can profit from the cross-cultural environment they foster when this perspective is combined with a varied workforce. And with the help of coaches, clients may further instill these values to combat diversity’s unintended costs and free their workforce’s potential for value-adding innovation.

Disengaged Workforce Rob Hands_Coaching_Research_Paper

A Research Paper By Rob Hands
Leadership Coach, SINGAPORE

Only 15% of full-time employees in 155 countries feel engaged at work, according to the Gallup ‘State of Global Workplace’ report. As a result, around 85% of employees worldwide are disengaged or unhappy at work. There are various variables that contribute to this lack of workplace participation (Disengaged Workforce), and the Covid-19 epidemic of 2020/21 has functioned as a major catalyst in hastening this trend. As a result, certain legacy techniques for building and maintaining employee engagement within a company must be completely rethought.

Authenticity Annabella Da Encarnacao_Coaching_Research_Paper

A Research Paper By Annabella Da Encarnacao
Leadership Coach, GERMANY

My coaching approach focuses on being your true self in the workplace as an individual. Gabriela Krupa is an experienced organization coach who focuses on “purposeful self-organization for business and authentic workplaces,” according to her website. Gabriela has worked for the Energized self-management consulting firm and now helps me with my own work on the road to self-management. Although an increasing number of people aspire to live a healthy lifestyle at work, few businesses are willing to take the risk. The main focus of this talk is on a company level: what does authenticity mean to them, what is the process of introducing authenticity to the workplace, and, of course, what are the challenges and rewards of doing so.

Vulnerability vs. Protection

Vulnerability vs. Protection Annabella Da Encarnacao_Coaching_Tool

A Coaching Power Tool By Annabella Da Encarnacao
Leadership Coach, GERMANY

The difference between vulnerability vs. protection is that vulnerability associates the possibility of being attacked or harmed with flaws and weaknesses, whereas protection involves making ourselves inaccessible by erecting a mental barrier that prevents anyone from seeing who we truly are, our core. The pressure to look good as an inexperienced leader is enormous. Downwards management, upwards management, peer pressure, and, of course, very little or no education on what leadership is. The risk is that in trying to insulate ourselves from vulnerability, we numb ourselves completely. We embrace vulnerability in difficult situations when we choose to stay uncomfortable, lean into unpleasant dialogues, and be bold. Humanity is defined by our vulnerability. Our greatest strength as humans and leaders is to embrace our vulnerabilities.

True-Self vs. False-Self Marc Blais_Coaching_Tool

A Coaching Power Tool By Marc Blais
Leadership Coach, CANADA

Coaching fosters an environment in which people are free to speak the truth, even if it has never been uttered or realized before. Taking steps to reveal your true self is a process of self-awareness and challenging beliefs through a trusting relationship with a coach to understand who you are and how you want to present yourself in the world. By having the courage to be who you are, you can free yourself from your false self. The art of coaching creates a safe environment for people to be vulnerable and discover their authentic True-Self vs. False-Self.
