ICF Accredited Coach Training

Value Packs To Jump Start Your Training

Select The Program That Will Best Suit Your Plans for Coaching

We are often asked 'Which program is best for me?' This is a totally understandable question because coach training is an investment of both time and money and it's important your decision is one that will fit your budget, learning style, plans for coaching and confidence  We suggest anyone joining a coach training program considers the following.  And, if you need help, let us know.  All our program advisors are certified coaches, and ICA graduates.  They know our programs first hand and know which program is best for which coaching opportunity.

  • Plans for Coaching

How do you plan to use coaching? Did you want to blend coaching with your existing profession? Become a corporate coach? Or, set up your own coaching practice (and need business building guidance)

  • Credentialling

All coaches should be certified. But, after that, do you think you will need an ICF credential such as ACC, PCC or MCC? If so, then we highly recommend you choose a program that offers either an ACSTH or ACTP track

  • Budget

Are you better to take advantage of an interest free payment plan (3, 6 or 12 months) or save 5% on your tuition with a single payment?

  • How Much Time Do You Have?

Do you have a deadline in mind for your completion? And, are you the sort of person who likes to take their time, or do you want / need to fast track?

An 'All Inclusive' Learning Experience

At ICA the term all inclusive means - no hidden costs, no unexpected certification hurdles,  and full access to our coaching community. A diverse and connected community of coaches who will warmly welcome you to our community.

If you have already started your coach training journey somewhere else and have completed Accredited Coach Training hours with another school you may be able to complete one of our bridging programs for a ACTP pathway to ICF accreditation. Find out more about these options here and speak to a program advisor about which program is best for you.

Coach Skills for Beginners (Free)

At International Coach Academy we aim to make our coach training as flexible as possible. You can study to become a coach whilst you are working or at home looking after your family.

Each month we open up a classroom so that those considering coaching as a career can get started with some free coach skills. It's also a great opportunity to get to know us better as a school by meeting our faculty and students.

Access Schedule

ICFAll our coach training programs are accredited with the International Coach Federation (ICF). Coaching is a global profession and the ICF continues to be the most established and globally recognised peak body. Not only do they provide high standards and competencies for coaching and coach training, clients also want to know they are employing someone who has been through a rigorous training and accreditation process.

Do You Have Enough Time to Add Study To Your Schedule?

We get asked this question alot and it can be a concern for people who have already busy lives juggling families, work commitments, careers, leisure etc. But, one of the main benefits of ICA's training delivery is that it's mobile.  You can study from anywhere, at anytime.  It's also flexible in that you decide when you learn and how many classes you take each week. If you miss a class one week, it doesn't matter because you can just pick it up the week after.

Program Features

All learning is delivered via a blend of LIVE teleclasses, forum discussion and self reflection with many opportunities to coach, and be coached.  It's up to you how many or few classes you take each week.  The schedules have been timed to allow for self paced study, where the study schedule fits with your lifestyle and not the other way around. The learning process is as follows:

1. Download and read the coach training course module
2. Dial into a teleclass (facilitated by an ICA Trainer)
3. Post reflections on the forum

  • Flexibility

We run over 35 teleclasses a week across 4 timezones to cater for our diverse student body. This is one of the reasons our programs are so popular with Expats and people who move often. The global schedule is also great if you want to combine study with work.

  • Certification Choices

Our programs are accredited with the International Coach Federation (ICF). so not only do you receive a certificate from us, you are also able to apply for credential with the ICF via the ACTP path (MCC, PC, ACC)

  • Unique Content

All students at ICA create a body of work including a Coaching Model , a Coaching Power Tool and a Research Paper. All these are unique to you and are published on the ICA blog. They also provide you with strong marketing materials to help build your business or practice.

  • Multiple Niches

The coaching profession is well developed across many industries and professions around the globe and the need to specialize is increasing.  The opportunity for niching is limitless, and we’ve categorised them into 4 key streams.

  • International Forum

ICA is host to a private student forum with coaches from over 90 countries around the world. Deepen your learning & network with coaches from all many different industries.  Many of our graduates actually form business partnerships with colleagues they connected  with in our forum.

  • Get Your Own Coach

We believe that to be a coach, its important to experience being coached. When you enrol in a program at ICA you get automatic entry to our Peer Coaching Forum. And it is a requirement of the program that you coach for a certain number of hours and be coached. This is just one of the many benefits of coach training with ICA.

  • Promotional Opportunities

We take every chance we get to promote our coaches.  Not only do we publish all graduates Power Tools and Coaching Models on our blog, but we also publish a Graduate Yearbook profiling our coaches, their niches and their work.

  • Mentoring & Supervision

Mentor Coaching and Coach Supervision are increasingly popular for advanced coaches. To really develop your skills to a high level you need to be mentored by experienced qualified coaches, and in order to grow your practice you need a sounding board for client issues and challenges.

  • Flexible Payment Options

We want to give as many people as possible the opportunity to study to change people’s lives so we have a number of flexible payment options to make it affordable for most.

"When I dialled in for my first call, listening to the number of countries from where people had logged in was an amazing moment. Despite being a virtual program, I feel part of a global community."

"When I realized that I’d found what I really wanted to do in my life. I should have been coaching and teaching instead of spending 30 years in the corporate world."

"Each of the facilitators shared some experience, tool or exercise that has turned out to be meaningful and practical for me, so it's difficult to say! "It was in a tele-class on the 2nd day after I started my study at ICA. I was encouraged or even challenged by the instructor to find a peer coach asap. This turned out to be very helpful for me along the journey."
