Congratulations To Our June 17 Graduates

2017/06/15

When a student graduates from an ICA Coach Training Program they graduate as a unique and powerful coach with peer connections and lifelong friendships that span the world.  Each has their own coaching model, niche or coaching application and will use this to create positive change in themselves or others.

It’s not surprising for us to find that for many of our graduates, it’s the peer connections they made during their training that are most fondly recalled.  Students connect regularly in teleclasses, the forum, mentor coaching and observed coaching and organically build long and lasting relationships.  Each graduate will have also participated in ICA’s peer coaching program where they will have coached, and been coached, for a at least 20 hours by their peers.  This can be local face to face coaching, or coaching via skype or telephone. Our latest cohort of ICACoach graduates share their most memorable moment during the graduation ceremony.

Featured Students

Claudia Disco, Expatriate Coach, UNITED STATES

“My memorable moment was learning from and sharing with peer coaches. Peer coaching has given me so much more than just practicing coaching. The exchanges have enriched my journey with ICA and I feel like we have build lasting relationships. I am coaching expat spouses to reach their full potential at any stage of a move.

Gail Mohammed, Transitions Coach, TRINIDAD & TOBAGO

My most memorable moment of training with ICA was during my observed coaching sessions when I got positive feedback from my mentor coach Kathy. I became so much more confident as a coach and started believing that I would be a successful coach.

Esther Lipscomb, Life Coach, UNITED STATES

My most memorable moment of training came within the first mentor coaching class in which I was the coach. I felt so vulnerable to jump into coaching with master coach Leon listening in. I wanted so badly to have a great first session and not be a beginner but there was no way around being a beginner and less than perfect. Facing my fear of imperfection head on was a triumph. Throughout training I coached in multiple trying circumstances and each challenge made me gradually more confident for the next client and challenge.

Rula Sammar, Business Coach, KUWAIT

Rula Sammur cm pt and cs complicated Business Coach Kuwait "Being a student with ICA was a great journey. It is not just the knowledge, the skills and the exposure, but it is getting to know more about me as a person, getting to know that all the answers are hidden within us. Interacting with students from different cultures enriched my journey.

Being a Coach is a journey and, graduation, is just the first step in this journey."

May-Tuck Wong, Leadership & Transition Coach MALAYSIA

"Now that I have graduated I plan to: leverage coaching to empower leaders across the levels of leadership to be better versions of themselves, both individually and collectively, for greater impact and influence in the systems they engage in. People I met, connected and worked with in ICA made this dream possible. Every element within the program played a significant part in developing my coaching competencies. The Observed coaching was the epiphany."
