Transformation Valentina Mallardo_Coaching_Research_Paper

A Research Paper By Valentina Mallardo
Transformational Coach, AUSTRALIA

Two things inspired me to create this piece. The desire to put a key part of my transformation journey into words. Writing, like speaking aloud, helps us give form and meaning to our experiences and become more aware of our path. And, there was a key event that occurred before my decision to enroll in the coaching school, one of those things that you don’t notice at first but later realize has a big impact on you and, in this instance, on my quest to become a coach.

TURN ON THE LIGHTS! In my LIGHT ON! project, Discovering Fulfillment is my heart’s passion project. This idea is a global mission. Everyone in this world is unique and forges their own way through life. In August 2021, I began my true-life story research. I do interviews with people who lead fulfilled lives, whatever that means to them. By sharing these incredible life tales, I hope to inspire others to get unstuck, take responsibility for their lives, and find meaning, joy, and fulfillment in their lives.

Coaching and Education – Benefits of Using Coaching in the Education Field

2022/03/16

Coaching and Education Lynette Jordan_Coaching_Research_Paper

A Research Paper By Lynette Jordan
Life Coach, UNITED STATES

The socio-emotional problems of students and teachers are at an all-time high in education today. Anxiety and sadness are major concerns, according to a 2018 study of students. With the increased use of technology, students seem to feel isolated and difficult to integrate into society. School staff is also dealing with socio-emotional issues. Life coaching, I feel, would be beneficial to the profession of education in addressing these difficulties. Coaching and education benefits help clients navigate the educational landscape by teaching them the tools to move their minds to areas they previously felt out of control and feared.

Types of Coaching Ana Kardonski_Coaching_Research_Paper

A Research Paper By Ana Kardonski
Conscious Living Coach, EL SALVADOR

There are many types of coaching training programs. There are year-long programs at colleges like ICA, brief coaching certifications, and programs produced by coaches who have built their own models and methodology and established schools to train future professionals in their craft using their methodologies. Brooke Castillo, a Master Certified Coach, for example, developed The Life Coach School to help others work through their problems. Martha Beck has also completed the Wayfinder Life Coaching Program. The Proctor Gallagher Institute, which offers programs like Thinking Into Results, is another big player in the coaching profession.

Coaching Africans Mirian Kachikwu_Coaching_Research_Paper

A Research Paper By Mirian Kachikwu
Business Coach, NIGERIA

Every society is pervaded by culture, with all that it entails, especially in Africa, where each country reflects a diverse range of ethnicities. Coaching Africans are becoming a more significant tool for Africans to deal with the personal and business issues that they face on a daily basis. Consequently, it is impossible to train an African without first understanding his or her cultural background. To effectively coach African clients, coaches must adapt to Western coaching competencies to understand and objectively question the impact on them and how they are identified in life, society, and/or the workplace.

Cultivating Stillness: A Counterintuitive, Countercultural Tool for Facilitating Growth in Women

Stillness Emily Cornell_Coaching_Research_Paper

A Research Paper By Emily Cornell
Life Coach, UNITED STATES

I was taken aback by the topic of stillness. I consider myself a woman of action, motivated by strategic ideas, and I admit that I may get caught up in a flurry of activity that isn’t necessarily productive. I understand that movement and motivation have a leading step: calm down, only after reflecting on the past and present is still helping me make the biggest (often scary) growth spurts of my life.

Creating a Coaching Culture as Part of the New Organization Construct

Creating a Coaching Culture Serena Truong_Coaching_Research_Paper

A Research Paper By Serena Truong
Executive Coach, SINGAPORE

Before the pandemic, many businesses considered their offices an essential part of their operations. Due to the 2020 pandemic, many companies have adopted different ways of working. These options range from creating a coaching culture, working from home to a hybrid approach in which employees work from home, but return to the office for specific tasks to a remote working arrangement. Leaders and people managers have to adapt to new ways of leading people in different work environments. In order to engage and encourage their staff, managers must rethink and learn new managerial abilities while managing a workforce that may work partly remotely and partly in person.

Child Coaching – How Can Coaching Impact Children?

2022/03/07

Child Coaching Rob Street_Coaching_Research_Paper

A Research Paper By Rob Street
Education Coach, HONG KONG

The concept of Child Coaching (and tutoring in general) is not well understood throughout the community. A quick search reveals many people offering ‘coaching’ services, which are firmly in area 1, training executive or academic skills. This fact is not what I consider authentic coaching, and will not be discussed here. Almost all researchers agree that Child Coaching is effective. This is because this approach allows the child to be exposed to his or her limiting beliefs, which in turn opens the door to possible changes that may not have existed before. As well, the coaching approach is likely to spill over to any similar challenges the child faces in the future – having overcome one already, there is more chance of doing so again.

Bridging the Growth Gap Through Feedback

Feedback Jessica Hull_Coaching_Research_Paper

A Research Paper By Jessica Hull
Empowerment Coach, AUSTRALIA

This research paper combines the work of developmental theorists, psychologists, and academics from all across the world. It delves into the concept of the ‘Learning Pit,’ a teaching philosophy I became acquainted with during my time as a teacher, and how it might be utilized in a coaching environment. It then goes on to explain how a coach may help to build a bridge over the ‘pit’ so that an individual’s journey is one of empowerment and enlightenment. A coach must use emotional intelligence to determine the client’s Zone of Proximal Development in order to accomplish this (ZPD). It delves deeper into the significance of feedback and explains why I believe it is the most important tool a coach can use to assist a customer on their invisible journey to success.

The main purpose of this interview was to investigate the impact of professional coaching on the field of agile coaching. By interviewing Cherie, who is a topic expert in both fields, it is assumed that she has done extensive research in her pursuit of accreditations. To achieve these accreditations in both domains, a lot of hard work and more field experience are required. As a result, after learning about Cherie and her narrative, the interview focuses on the competencies and their relationships between the two domains, as well as their influence in the agile world.
