Wheel of Life Sing Lee Lim_Coaching_Research_Paper

A Research Paper By Sing Lee Lim
Career Coach, SINGAPORE

As an HR professional, I’ve come across a few psychometric assessment tools that are routinely used in leadership and succession planning to uncover talents and assess strengths and areas of improvement. In this study article, I’ll describe my own experience with the Wheel of Life coaching tool from the standpoint of a client. I hope that my fellow coaches who are interested in learning more about the Wheel of Life and want to use it in their coaching will find this paper fascinating to read.

Control vs. Influence Sing Lee Lim_Coaching_Tool

A Coaching Power Tool By Sing Lee Lim
Career Coach, SINGAPORE

Coaching is most effective when a coach assists his or her client in recognizing what he or she truly desires, often known as self-awareness. Self-awareness refers to internal attention to one’s inner self. This idea is a really effective method for learning and growing. We frequently wonder why we have tried so hard yet never succeeded. It’s possible that the explanation is that we didn’t realize what we really wanted and hence didn’t work in the appropriate way. Control vs. Influence is a new evaluation method in coaching to help discover the true aims to pursue personal victories.

ASPIRE Career Coaching Model Sing Lee Lim

A Coaching Model By Sing Lee Lim
Career Coach, SINGAPORE

As an HR professional, I’ve helped a lot of people when they’re facing issues or making career decisions. In conversations like this, I have come to the conclusion that discussing job choices is entirely a personal decision that individuals have to make. Consequently, I want to perfect my professional coaching abilities so that I can lead a career coaching monologue that helps others learn more about themselves and evolve into the person they’ve always wanted to be. Using the ASPIRE model, I always partner with my clients in career-related talks to clarify or explore their career interests or ambitions for their next steps. This approach is especially valuable for people who are at a crossroads in their careers, whether it’s because of a childhood desire or because of the constantly changing corporate climate.

Acceptance and Commitment Coaching (ACC)

Acceptance and Commitment Meaghan Sullivan_Coaching_Research_Paper

A Research Paper By Meaghan Sullivan
Performance Coach, UNITED STATES

Acceptance and commitment coaching (ACC) is derived from acceptance and commitment treatment (ACT), which is pronounced similarly to the word “act.” ACT is part of the third wave of behavioral therapy, following the first wave of traditional behavioral therapy and the second wave of cognitive-behavioral therapy. Hayes et al., 2006). Unlike traditional behavioral therapy, which focuses solely on changing behaviors and largely ignores the role that thoughts play in those behaviors, or cognitive behavioral therapy, which aims to change a person’s thoughts and behaviors, ACT focuses on how we relate to our thoughts without attempting to change them, and on taking meaningful actions despite the presence of those thoughts (Hayes et al., 2013).

Avoid vs. Approach Meaghan Sullivan._Coaching_Tool

A Coaching Power Tool By Meaghan Sullivan
Performance Coach, UNITED STATES

Whether it’s in sports, job interviews, uncomfortable talks, or public speaking, performance appears in many aspects of life. In instances where we must be “on,” we frequently face internal hurdles, regardless of the performance domain. These obstacles give us two options: we can avoid the obstacle and avoid encountering something difficult, unpleasant, or uncomfortable, or we can move toward the difficulty, overcome any discomfort that arises from it, and develop strategies for overcoming it. In a nutshell, we have two options: Avoid vs. Approach it.

“C” It Through “Good” or “Positive”

“C” It Through Performance Coaching Model Meaghan Sullivan

A Coaching Model By Meaghan Sullivan
Performance Coach, UNITED STATES

My four-step coaching technique, “C” It Through, is based on the principles of acceptance and commitment coaching (ACC; Hill & Oliver, 2019). Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT; Hayes et al., 2006) claims that mindful awareness of our thoughts and feelings, without judgment, allows us to recognize and accept their presence. Through this acceptance, we can learn to live with unwelcome or unhelpful thoughts and feelings rather than changing, avoiding, or eliminating them. Instead, we might choose to connect with our values, or what matters most to us, and then commit to acting in accordance with those principles, regardless of our thoughts or emotions.

PROCESS – 7 Steps That Will Assist You in Decoding Your Performance

Process Executive Coaching Model Rony Elklayany

A Coaching Model By Rony Elklayany
Executive Coach, LEBANON

PROCESS, I believe, is a one-of-a-kind code that allows each of us to discover our skills and release our full potential as we embark on our transformational road to success. It will help us improve performance and achieve our goals by identifying where we are now, where we want to be and what we need to do to act and achieve our goals. However, as all programmers are aware, code evolves at the same rate as the person who wrote it. This fact is why we must include our PROCESS in many check-ins or check-ups during our coaching sessions. It assists us in assessing and validating our progress in order to identify whether a change in direction or other measures are required to attain our targeted results.

Executive coaching is a road led by an expert consultant to assist clients in achieving what they perceive as a weakness and turning it into a strength, as well as using their fear to become a better person in their workplace community. There are a variety of behavioral strategies and ways to connect with clients that will encourage them to become better themselves and leaders in their field. Each method has advantages and disadvantages. Despite this, the majority of research demonstrates that coaching is a significant approach for businesses and individuals to improve the work environment, improve communication skills, and develop responsibility. Executive coaching is crucial for clients to progress and obtain valuable perspectives and comments, so it should be included in everyone’s learning.

We live in a time when everything is moving fast; we live in a time of change, transformation, and disruption. Although there is a strong connection between change vs. transformation, I believe there is a huge difference between the two. Both are good and necessary for us to succeed in this fast-moving world. It is important to know that everyone has different goals and processes to achieve the desired results.
