Incorporating Mindfulness Meditation Into Coaching Practice

2022/09/05

Mindfulness Meditation Lichenyang Zhou_Coaching_Research_Paper

A Research Paper By Lichenyang Zhou
Intimate Relationship Coach, CHINA

(Jon Kabat-Zinn, 1990) Or, as stated in Mindfulness Nation UK’s annual report, “mindfulness means paying attention to what’s happening in the present moment in the mind, body, and external environment, with an attitude of curiosity and kindness.” (Mindful Nation UK, 2015) Mindfulness meditation is one of the methodologies for meditation. It is broadly defined as practicing nonjudgmental attention to experiences in the present moment, or “practicing being.” It is advised for meditators to either sit or lie still while observing rather than controlling their breathing. The only thing that is required of meditators is for them to simply accept, note, and let go of their thoughts and feelings as they divert their attention.

Helplessness vs. Control Lichenyang Zhou_Coaching_Tool

A Coaching Power Tool By Lichenyang Zhou
Relationship Coach, CHINA

In order to help the clients in these three situations feel more at ease and less helpless, the Helplessness vs. Control coaching power tool is presented. When something terrible happens and they feel helpless, how can we as coaches help people change their perspective and focus on a sense of control? The essay that follows will first look at how helplessness and control are defined before delving into two crucial psychological ideas that are central to this coaching model: learned helplessness and locus of control. The Power Tool will then be discussed, along with how to use it in a coaching setting, after that. In the article’s conclusion, there will be a case study and some coaching questions.

CAYA (Come As You Are)

2022/08/19

CAYA Relationship Coaching Model Lichenyang Zhou

A Coaching Model By Lichenyang Zhou
Relationship Coach, CHINA

The target demographic for this CAYA (Come As You Are) coaching model is single women in their early 20s to late 30s who want to be satisfied, fulfilled, and happy in “their” relationships. The key to coaching is understanding that we never tell our clients what to do; instead, we assist them in identifying and forging their own course through life (ICA course material). Regardless of how many copies of a dating book are sold, the strategy described within might not still be suitable for a certain client. This coaching model, which aims to help clients understand themselves, must be used as a foundation. In a close connection, take into account the wants, values, and preferences. Analyze her sense of self-worth, satisfaction, and well-being both inside and outside of her intimacy. Only then will the search for love begin.
