Denial vs. Resignation vs. Acceptance Power Tools - Suyin Ong

A Coaching Power Tool By Suyin Ong
Parenting Coach, MALAYSIA

There are many different kinds of questions we can ask our clients as a Denial vs. Resignation vs. Acceptance power tool to help them reframe their situation from Denial to Resignation or Acceptance or from Resignation to Acceptance. Reframing involves pausing from our automatic response to consider our next course of action. By assisting them in reframing their perspectives, we can assist our clients in changing their viewpoints. Reframing refers to viewing something in a new light, in a new context, and with a new frame around it in cognitive psychotherapy. It’s like using a different set of glasses to view the same situation. Refocusing our thoughts is similar to taking off or putting on a new pair of sunglasses with a different lens.

SONGBIRD Parenting Coaching Model Suyin Ong

A Coaching Model By Suyin Ong
Parenting Coach, MALAYSIA

The word “SONG” refers to the process that I use in my model SONGBIRD, and the word “BIRD” underpins the values that I bring to my coaching practice. SONGBIRD speaks to me because “SONG” is my initial plus surname (family name). My Chinese name’s characters all refer to birds that swallow. My grandmother told me that my Chinese name (as named/suggested by my grandfather) represents independence. Consequently, SONGBIRD is an essential part of who I am and who I represent. I am open to people from all walks of life and value diversity. My goal in coaching is to reach out and make a difference in the lives of others.

A Research Paper By Suyin Ong
Parenting Coach, MALAYSIA

A good attitude to life is an optimistic attitude (including thinking positively, feeling positive emotions, and exhibiting positive behaviors such as kindness and generosity). This perspective on life has served as an anchor for me since it has supported me through the ups and downs that life has dealt me. My ultimate goal is to help everyone I come into contact with live a happy, empowered life, no matter what their current situation may be. To that purpose, a wide range of subjects, including Positive Psychology, Positive Intelligence, Appreciative Inquiry, Gratitude, Emotional Intelligence, etc., deal with the mental mindset of positivity. Positivity in Oncology research paper should be related to oncology, i.e. people battling cancer.

A Research Paper By Malindar Jit Kaur
Mindfulness and Wellbeing Coach, MALAYSIA

The study of one simple breathwork technique, Alternate Nostril Breathing (ANB), plays a large role in the mind-body connection, helps calm the turbulent mind, giving rise to fewer thoughts, and creating an impactful balance that supports the clients’ well-being, according to the research. Coaches can make ANB a part of their daily life and use it as a preparation for any coaching session as it enhances their presence. The coach employs ANB as a mindfulness tool to bring the client into the present moment during the coaching session, as a takeaway to practice between sessions, and finally as a lifelong tool for the client’s well-being.

A Coaching Power Tool By Malindar Jit Kaur
Wellbeing Coach, MALAYSIA

In a coaching session, the coach’s aim is critical. It is crucial for us to work through our own judgmental eyes and to train ourselves to look with loving eyes as mentors. Only then, as coaches, can we give our clients unconditional positive regard by establishing a nonjudgmental atmosphere. The coach’s preparation prior to the coaching session assists the coach in grounding, connecting, and setting the correct intention for the coaching session. There are a number of methods that coaches can use to help clients choose between a Judging Eyes vs. Loving Eyes.
