Wholeness vs. Perfection Wholeness vs. Perfection Power Tools - Uljana Kalinova

A Coaching Power Tool By Uljana Kalinova
Life Coach, Career Coach, LATVIA

Recognizing when the pursuit of perfection becomes the primary motivator of our actions or attitudes is the first step toward shifting our perspective from Wholeness vs. Perfection. We can begin by answering the question, “What causes you to act in a certain way?” To achieve that level of clarity. What motivates this behavior? What do you feel or think as this behavior occurs? It’s time to reconsider our current viewpoint and consider what other options might exist if we’re willing to commit to doing so. Being surrounded by other young coaches has taught me that many of us strive for perfection out of a sense of inadequacy.

A Research Paper By Louise Yin Luo
Life Coach, UNITED KINGDOM

Coaches engage in coaching with clients. It’s possible that some people frequently do not fully comprehend what coaching is and is not. I was asked to provide coaching advice to a friend. I clarified that coaching doesn’t offer counsel. Coaching is a method. The expert is the client. Together, we search for the solution for the client. What would encourage people to participate in coaching, given that many of us believe the benefits are less obvious and more difficult to quantify? What advantages does coaching offer? The purpose of this How Can Coaching Support Personal and Professional Development? research paper is to examine how coaching can aid in both professional and personal growth.

JOY – Journey to Happiness

JOY Life Coaching Model Uljana Kalinova

A Coaching Model By Uljana Kalinova
Life Coach, Career Coach, LATVIA

In my coaching work, I have observed that the ultimate goal of any subject chosen by a client is to bring about change that creates new opportunities and improves the quality of life. To put it another way, we are all looking for ways to be happier. Though many people find it difficult to define happiness. Therefore, this coaching model is called JOY to reflect the spirit of the larger purpose of finding happiness, while using more easily defined and specific words. We’ll do it in three simple steps, with J (step 1) serving as an anchor, O (step 2) as a wind rose, and Y (step 3) as a sail – the bolstering factors we’ll need to be successful on our voyage for joy.

In life, there is a lot of Uncertainty. Factors can include the most recent epidemic and associated lockdown rules, firm organizational and restructuring changes, an economic downturn with record-high inflation, the energy crisis, conflict, climate change, or any kind of natural disaster. This powerful tool focuses on Uncertainty vs. Possibility. Uncertainty can lead to stress, worry, and fear. However, the possibility may inspire us with optimism, positivism, and vitality. What potential changes can this uncertainty bring about for us? How can we focus our energy, time, and resources on what we can control in order to achieve the greatest possible outcome in an unforeseeable condition or life event? When we tolerate ambiguity, there are plenty of alternatives we can explore.

Required vs. Invited

Required vs. Invited Mark Wavle._Coaching_Tool

A Coaching Power Tool By Mark Wavle
Agile Coach, UNITED STATES

Required vs. Invited power tools help customers identify desired conditions, find areas they can choose from, and explore new areas of possible next steps. As coaches, we must empathize with the client’s perception of the circumstance and, rather than analyzing or correcting that perception, make space for them and their reality. When we take this attitude, we prioritize our client’s connection over all other considerations. Our clients notice this and instinctively understand that we value their autonomy. This understanding allows us to provide invites for them to consider switching from Requirement to Invitation.

Loss and Mourning in Career Coaching

Loss and Mourning Mark Wavle_Coaching_Research_Paper

A Research Paper By Mark Wavle
Career and Agile Coach, UNITED STATES

In essence, I’m looking at how grief counseling and career coaching interact and how this might help our clients. We may find that our clients are unable to advance in areas where they haven’t addressed a related loss, as I discovered with my coaching client. As we work with clients to determine their next steps, some of the obstacles our clients face can be the result of pent-up grief and loss. Mourning allows for the possibility of reframing, which provides our clients with the development and motion they want.

In order to fulfill my responsibility as a coach, I created the EXCEL Model. The approach offers a helpful framework to guide clients accomplish their objectives. The concept was helpful in igniting interest and revitalizing work for several people who felt disengaged at their jobs. Others have used it as a parenting tool to help them figure out how to balance meeting their needs with those of their kids. Others still use it to break bad behavior. The EXCEL Model aspires to be a versatile tool. My clients are supported by the EXCEL (End, Explore, Commit, Experiment, Learn) paradigm. Starting with the end in mind is helpful for clients. A coaching model called Aqua reflects movement, the movement that has defined people from the very beginning of time. Our ability to adapt and move forward through exploration, learning, and evolution is critical to our existence. This concept helps those who wish to change careers or leave their current occupation but keep their professional connections active.
