Perfection vs. Progress

A Coaching Power Tool By Yin Yong Tee
Business Coach, SINGAPORE

As coaches, we may use our knowledge of the Perfection vs. Progress perspective to help our clients become more conscious of their own limitations. When dealing with individuals who are driven by a desire for perfection, we can ask them questions that will help them grasp what they want to accomplish. It enables individuals to take a step back and assess their aims by allowing them to reflect on their ambitions. We can also collaborate with the clients to figure out the many “What ifs” throughout this period.

Overcoming Fear Heather Nickel_Coaching_Research_Paper

A Research Paper By Heather Nickel
Executive Coach, CANADA

Fear is the number one barrier to human performance. Individuals report considerable regret that they were unable to overcome fear and ultimately became unable to pursue their dreams. In the Overcoming Fear Using Coaching profession, it is crucial to understand that fear is based on the brain’s response to a real or perceived threat. Often, this threat arises in those with a fixed mindset with a predisposition to assume that they will fail. By reducing stress through a growth mindset and being aware of systematic desensitization to break down goals and fears into manageable steps, people may then be able to face their fears and gradually achieve their goals.

Perfectionism vs. Self-Compassion Heather Nickel_Coaching_Tool

A Coaching Power Tool By Heather Nickel
Executive Coach, CANADA

Before I started the International Coach Academy program, I never thought of myself as a perfectionist. However, as I began being coached, the sessions always circled back to perfectionism. I was burning out, unable to be satisfied with my accomplishments or enjoy the journey. I felt stressed out and as if I was failing continually. The focus on perfection in every area of my life was forcing me to miss out on the beauty of the present and eventually my mental and physical health deteriorated. As I began to research and use techniques to overcome my perfectionistic tendencies, I also began coaching others with the same issue. I chose this power tool Perfectionism vs. Self-Compassion because it has helped me personally and can help others who deal with the same perfectionistic tendencies.

Building Momentum for Change Ioana Domnica Grigore_Coaching_Research_Paper

A Research Paper By Ioana Domnica Grigore
Business Coach, ROMANIA

Momentum is generally used to describe increasing forward motion. A boulder rolling down a hill gains momentum. Momentum implies that, like a boulder rolling down a hill, something with momentum will continue moving forward on its own. As we all already know, coaching is not about the coach, but about the client. Of course, the coach will be committed to supporting the client’s journey through changes, but the client needs to be aware of several tips and tricks for daily use. These tips and tricks will help keep the momentum, even when the coach is not present.

OPTIMUM Business Coaching Model Ioana Domnica Grigore

A Coaching Model By Ioana Domnica Grigore
Business Coach, ROMANIA

A coaching model designed to help solopreneurs reach their OPTIMUM potential in the entrepreneurial life. As you might have guessed already, the main struggle for the solopreneur is, well, being solo. A solopreneur handles the business by himself and very often gets overwhelmed. Being the one-man show gets him stuck into a single perspective with no one to show him other sides of the story. The OPTIMUM model is designed to be used each time the solopreneur feels trapped into a circumstance that no longer serves him/her and that doesn’t produce the optimum in business.

In today’s complex and challenging environment, it is easier than ever to feel disoriented, anxious, and lose sight of what fits you and what it is not. This stage is called the mismatch crisis. This issue is expressed by the anxiety you feel when your reality or something in your reality doesn’t fit you anymore. This can happen not only in a professional or entrepreneurial environment but also in a personal environment. Coaching for Creating a Better Life Adrian Secolof_Coaching_Research_Paper

A Research Paper By Adrian Secolof
Business Coach, ROMANIA

During the Coaching for Creating a Better Life session, the FLIPIT process, we have explored the issue of finding the challenge making sure what the challenge is, looking at the pictures that better describe the challenge, feel it, identifying her feelings and values, and then identifies her current perspective of how she is looking at the challenge. We framed it. The most exciting is the exercise of empowerment by flipping the perspective.

A Coaching Model By Adrian Secolof

The Check IN vs. Check OUT power tool is built with a thought to the coaching power tool “empowering vs. disempowering” and embraces the principle that either you are empowering by checking IN or choose not to rely on and take a step back, falling behind and check out. Applying check-in and check-out methods allow team members to concisely reflect the path they choose to move forward. This power tool can be used in many aspects of life or career opportunities.

Flourishing Business Coaching Model Adrian Secolof

A Coaching Model By Adrian Secolof
Business Coach, ROMANIA

In 1999, I encountered the concept of Flourishing for the first time at a summer seminar on Liberty in France. Since then, I have been fascinated by this concept and the benefits it can bring to mankind. The Flourishing coaching model is the journey of human beings to explore their inner life, discover their strengths, and take actions to develop themselves, become a better person, experience success, and ultimately lead a better life.
