Agile Coaching Edwin Hanegraaf_Coaching_Research_Paper

A Research Paper By Edwin Hanegraaf
Agile Coach, NETHERLANDS

The main purpose of this interview was to investigate the impact of professional coaching on the field of agile coaching. By interviewing Cherie, who is a topic expert in both fields, it is assumed that she has done extensive research in her pursuit of accreditations. To achieve these accreditations in both domains, a lot of hard work and more field experience are required. As a result, after learning about Cherie and her narrative, the interview focuses on the competencies and their relationships between the two domains, as well as their influence in the agile world.

Exploration vs. Advice Edwin Hanegraaf_Coaching_Tool

A Coaching Power Tool By Edwin Hanegraaf
Agile Coach, NETHERLANDS

In this power tool Exploration vs. Advice, we’ll take a look at the coaching side of the coin. Not just advising people on how to implement agile, but helping people explore appropriate solutions to implement in an agile way, which often leads to sustainable results. Both the “coach” and the “client” will get fresh insights by promoting self-exploration on the why what, and how. The coach will gain a deeper understanding of an organization’s needs in their expertise domain and will act on those needs individually and properly. Customers will take the first small steps to understand their information and insights, which they can immediately apply to their daily work.

Agile Coaching Model Edwin Hanegraaf

A Coaching Model By Edwin Hanegraaf
Agile Coach, NETHERLANDS

As a coach, I am a firm believer in people’s ability to recognize and use their own abilities. Also, many agile coaching clients complain about the results of the coaching they received in my work environment – the agile world. A lot of the time, agile coaches function as agile consultants, giving advice or training to people based on their agile knowledge. People wonder whether they can’t ride that metaphorical bicycle on their own as soon as they leave.

Passions vs. Talents

Passions vs. Talents Leigh Griffin_Coaching_Tool

A Coaching Power Tool By Leigh Griffin
Agile Coach, IRELAND

Achieving any goal innately taps into either a person’s Passions vs. Talents. Talent, or skill, is measured and can be tested. They are something that can be nurtured and invested in with time and patience. Passions are less malleable than Talents and while Passions change over time, it requires environmental support as well as time to allow Passions to form and grow. Passions are a Key Bridge towards Talent gaps. If someone has the Passion for an area but lacks the key Talents, it can become a motivator and a focal point to help grow and embed the Talents.
