Clients are Looking for Certified Coaches

Coach practitioners are increasingly likely to agree that their clients expect coach practitioners to be certified/credentialed.

Coaches holding one or more credentials from a professional association reported 25% higher average annual revenue / income from coaching compared to those without a credential

ICF Global Study Into Coaching (2020)

Coaching has roots from a variety of theories and philosophies including adult education, positive psychology and organisational psychology. And it can be found in an increasing number of industries and professions. It is not a singular practice. Consequently it cannot be taught as such.

At ICA, we like to plan your exit at the beginning.  You will graduate with the confidence, skills and knowledge needed to coach anyone anywhere in the world, your own unique coaching model and portfolio, and a coaching certification that is recognised globally.

ICA'S TRAINING IS MORE THAN JUST ZOOM CLASSES

We don't just teach - we specialise in the application of knowledge.

Just as coaching is all about making deep and sustainable changes, so our learning method is about deep and life long learning. We use an online classroom to give you as much"knowledge" as we can upfront - then we work with you on applying that knowledge to your specific situation.

At ICA the term online learning refers to an interactive e-learning methodology and a thriving community of networks and friendships. Created by the ICA founder Robyn Logan, back in 2001, ICA's online learnsite hosts all the required learning materials; module downloads, video tutorials, curated resources, class schedules and the ICA Coaches private forum.

The first thing you do when you join our training is spend some time looking around the virtual corridors of ICA - unpacking your learnsite, meeting your faculty, meeting your peers, and joining an orientation call. Then using your graduation checklist you map out a learning schedule that best suits your study goals (options to fast track or take your time).

Most of the students in our program have ongoing family or work commitments that influence the time they set aside for study. We totally  understand that and for this reason our programs are flexible and designed so that you create the study schedule that fits with your lifestyle. If you miss a class one week, you can take it another week at the same time. And, if you have to travel or relocate geographically, then you just jump to a class schedule that fits with the new time zone.

GRADUATE WITH YOUR OWN UNIQUE COACHING MODEL

When coaching was a new profession, it was perfectly acceptable to simply call yourself a coach. But today the coaching profession is well developed across many industries and professions around the globe and the need to specialize and showcase your uniqueness is increasing.

So, although you will graduate with the skills to coach anyone, anywhere in the world, we also teach you how to specialise.  We will look at your background, how it intersects with coaching and how it can be blended with coaching and then ask you two specific questions;  who do you want to coach?, and how do you want to coach? From this you will create your own niche and coaching model, showcasing your unique strengths, skills and expertise to future employers or clients.

LEARN A COACHING FRAMEWORK UNIQUE TO ICA

We are constantly grappling with change – changes we want to make happen, changes we have to make, and changes that are happening to us. FlipIt is based on the idea that the way we see our world is a choice. The same event can happen to two different people and they will respond in completely different ways.

The framework is a 4 step process (Find It, Feel It, Frame It, Flip It).  We teach this framework in all our classes (ACTP and ACSTH) and our Advanced Program coaches graduate with a 12 month FlipIt Facilitator license.  However, you don't have to be a coach to use this tool, with many individuals and workplaces integrating it into their work or life.  Read More

WHAT OUR GRADUATES SAY

PORNTIP JAKWICHTAMRONG

Leadership Coach, THAILAND

testimonial-avatarMy background is as a Human Resources professional supporting Multi-National Companies by applying progressive HR Practices to drive employee development and cultivate employee engagement to deliver on business strategy. My most memorable moment at ICA was when I realized it was my choice to choose a perspective e.g. to take responsibility and not to blame (and that blame comes in various shapes and forms).

AREEYA MAHAWORAMAKORN

Transformational and Thrive Coach, THAILAND

testimonial-avatarThe program at ICA offers me the opportunity to connect with people from different countries all over the world. Observed Coaching was a memorable experience filled with friendliness and encouragement. It was a great journey to be with a supportive, energetic, and warm group of people that created a safe container for me to build up my coaching competencies.

RAM LEVIN

Success Coach and Leadership Coach, THAILAND

testimonial-avatarWow, where to begin? I've met such amazing people from all over the world. We all shared the same passion while supported each other through tough times. I've made some friends for life I couldn't have met anywhere else but in the amazing ICA community. The mentors are unexceptionally professional, supportive, and full of good-hearted intentions, let alone the patient. Each mentor has unique gifts to share, which benefited the learners in ways beyond words. The classes, labs, and assignments contributed to the sharp learning curve while the mentor classes brought it all together most practically and insightfully. The most memorable part is by far, the observed classes. Here the pressure was on. Both times wise and the desire to showcase the best abilities as a coach were challenging. The amount and depth of the learning done within 1 hour were mind-blowing. I would like to thank all the mentors, fellow students, and the supportive staff behind the scenes for a brilliant period of my life which marks the beginning of a new era. Thank you, ICA!
