Enma Popli, Executive Coach, India
How did you find coaching?
A colleague who had attended a Program with ICA recommended the International Coaching Academy to me. Post intensive research and speaking with the Program Advisor who helped me immensely by addressing all my queries, I realised that besides helping me hone my coaching skills, the ICA would give me a global perspective and the ability to network with a global community of coaches.
I thus took the decision to enroll in the Certified Coach Training Program offered by ICA.
What is your most memorable ICA moment?
When I dialed in for my first call, listening to the number of countries from where people had logged in was an amazing moment. This experience continued as I learnt from mentors, practiced with peers and clients from all over the world. Many of them have become friends just like it would in a normal full time course.
Despite being a virtual program, I feel part of a global community.
How are you using your coaching skills?
I work with a NGO for intellectually challenged children. I am using coaching skills acquired to support the team that deals with these very difficult situations.
As a soft skills trainer I knew how to speak, as a Coach I have learnt how to listen and question.
I believe I am today far better equipped to help my clients achieve their goals. I intend to work closely with Clients who are facing changes that are challenging and help them embrace it.
