A Coaching Model Created by Viya Chen
(Visionary Leadership and Business Coach, SINGAPORE)

The M.I.G.H.T.Y. Me Coaching Model has been created with the aim of empowering clients to leverage their potentials and maximize their strengths for the development of their action plan for changing.

Introduction

The biggest challenge faced during the coaching process is finding clients’ potentials, including their inherited talents, personalities and capabilities of managing the changes.

This paper presents a coaching model, which combines innate talents analysis, allowing clients to discover their strengths by the coaching process, following by shifting perspectives and creating possibilities. This model will explore the desire for change by opening dialogues and living in alignment between clients’ head, heart and guts.

Empowered by the Law of Attraction

The Mighty Me model’s law of attraction is to consciously visualize strengths and envision the goals.  The model will inspire clients to “see” who they are and their pathways of creating the future in their possession.  Their visualization will manifest into reality.

Three DIMENSIONS contribute to Mighty me Coaching:

  • MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCE:

The client is learning their multiple intelligences, which is a muster of their strengths.  The coach is creating a safe space to help clients learn their inherited talents and appreciate their best self.

  • INSPIRE CREATIVITY:

The coach uses Visualization and Imagination tools to unlock clients’ desires, mapping the future and envisioning their goal.

  • GO FOR ACTION:

After clients have developed self-awareness and felt empowered by their vision, the coach will guide them through the milestones creating process on SMART goal.  During the transformative journey, the coach acknowledges, and holds the clients’ accountable to the plan and set up time or means for follow up.

Three PHASES of Mighty me Coaching:

  • HONORING POTENTIALS:

In this phase, clients will recognize their innate talents, personality and learning characteristics.  The coach is to appreciate clients’ individualization and the clearest understanding of themselves to create the emotional engagement.

  • TRANSFORMING PERSPECTIVES:

The coach uses ICF competencies to help clients to reframe and shift perspectives, which will help clients to create the positive energy and align with their purpose and value.

  • YIELDING POSSIBILITIES:

During this phase, the coach uses powerful questions and active listening to unfold the possibilities of change for action.  The coach will help client to unravel the barriers, celebrate the possibilities and make them feel empowered by the alignment between their Head, Heart and Guts.
