Coaching Model: “3 I’s”

2016/01/03

A Coaching Model Created by Vera Ilnyckyj
(Personal & Business Coaching, CANADA)

Do you want to gain clarity about what’s important in your life? Are you looking to connect with your life purpose? Do you want to move forward but aren’t sure how? Are you ready to take action in order to live a genuine, fulfilled and positive life?

Working with a coach will allow you the space, time and guidance to find answers to these questions. Committing to the coaching process will help connect you with what you are passionate about, clarify where you want to be and guide you to develop steps on how to get there. I believe each of us have unique gifts and skill sets that we are on this earth to share with others. When we know what these are, then everything makes sense.

The “3 I’s” coaching model assists you to create awareness about what is important to you, clarifies your desires and wishes, and sets up an action plan for how to achieve your goals.

Insight

What makes you YOU? What makes you unique and special? What is your unique gift that you bring to the world? We are all made up of a collection of experiences, gifts, talents, skill-sets, thoughts, ideas, goals and dreams. Through coaching, you’ll have time to really think about all the things that make you unique and special and with this awareness and insight you’ll be able to move forward towards creating your ideal life.

The coaching process will help you identify and clarify your VALUES, ASPIRATIONS SKILLS and INTERESTS to come up with your own personal manifesto or life statement. This will help you answer other questions, such as “What is my purpose?”, “What do I want to do with my life?” or “what is my dream job?”.

I think self awareness is probably the most important thing towards being a champion. ~ Billie Jean King

Intention

Intentions are guiding principles for how you want to be, live and show up in the world. When you set an intention, you’re defining how you wish to be in the present moment, regardless of outer circumstances, and regardless of how near or far to your goals you are. Intentions are a way of being, of acting, of thinking – no matter what is going on around you.

Intentions are:

  • lived in the present moment,
  • lived each day, independent of reaching a goal or destination, and
  • your inner-relationships with yourself and others.

The coaching process can help you clarify your intentions by helping you discover areas in your life that could use a bit more balance, where the gaps are and where ideally you’d like to focus your energies. During the coaching process we’ll explore what kind of person you want to be, what matters most to you and what type of life you’d like to create for yourself that is true and real for you.

Our intentions create our reality. ~ Wayne Dyer

In Momentum

Being in momentum means moving towards your goals, your dreams and your ideal life. It is putting structures in place that will enable you to get to where you want to be. The coaching process will help develop your goals, action steps and timelines that will set you up for success.

When you know who you are, when you are solid in how you wish to live your life, then it’s easier to envision your ideal life and you’ll be motivated to achieve that life. Coaching will help you determine the best way for you to reach your goals and stay on purpose, even if setbacks are experienced along the way.

The path to success is to take massive, determined actions. ~ Tony Robbins

The “3 I’s” coaching model can be be used for any situation a client identifies as wanting to move forward in. It is meant to be used as a way for gaining awareness (insight) into a situation, setting an intention or vision for the ideal, and then creating action to move forward. It can be a circular model that we keep going back to again and again in order to unravel and create awareness for any situation a client is struggling with.

Coaching is about moving forward. When you work with me, together we’ll determine action steps to help you reach your goals, determine how to get past your stumbling blocks, and help lead you to live the live you want to live. A coach is your own personal cheerleader, your accountability partner, and your sounding board. Together, we’ll ‘connect the dots’, keep you moving forward, and keep the momentum going to ensure you are living in alignment with your values, pursuing your purpose, and doing what you’re passionate about.
