In this layer, clients will be at the “work in progress” stage walking the talk with regular follow up of how close their reality is becoming to their aspired goal & vision.
For the Client
- Flow forward in movement and action
- Share with yourself and with your coach how it is going to be

For the Coach
- Track and acknowledge; challenge and energize
- Ask for feedback and hold the client accountable (Follow up, measure, and review progress)
- Celebrate wins with the client
- Explore what is in the way and what is accelerating the way
- Revisit the E; L; and F when necessary to check for alignment
- Track progress in light of the S. (Revisit the S to re-emphasize the importance and impact of the action on the realization of S. )
Useful Questions include:
- What are you ready to commit to?/ What is the next step?
- What is the action plan? When do you want to achieve it?
- How do you feel about your plan?
- What structures and resources can help you?
- How will you maintain/ nurture your motivation/ drive?
- What do you need to let go of to move forward?
- What do you need to have more of to move forward?
- How would you measure / evaluate your progress along the way?

- Instill the concept of S E L F within you
- Get in touch with your S E L F layers
- Have a conscious intention to listen and work towards what you really want and to make yourself happy
- Be mindful of how you think of yourself and how you influence and get influenced by elements in your world
- Internalize the importance of doing things for yourself
Useful techniques and questions include:
- Use the M.I.R.R.O.R. tool to explore and assess your self-care
- Create a mantra/ motto/ reminder for yourself (e.g. Remember: If it is going to happen, it depends on you, so invest in “you”!)
- Ask yourself: How can I stay true to myself?
- Practice mindfulness: e.g. Where/how do you feel this internalization in your body? How can you take care of it? How can you make it stronger?
Show & Shine (SELFI to yourself & others)
- This S is all about results and effects
- Show the results of S E L F I to yourself
- Reinforce the value and importance of S E L F I to and within you
- Be mindful of how taking care of “you” is serving you and serving others
Useful techniques and questions include:
- Observe the effect of S E L F I on your M.I.R.R.O.R
- How does S E L F I affect your interactions?
- How is your body and health showing S E L F I to you and to others?
- Have a journal… share your shining moments. Refer to it for reinforcement and energy.
- Celebrate… reward yourself!

- Focusing on making yourself happy and putting yourself first positively impacts your well-being. If you are happy, you can make your world happy as you share the LIFE in SELFISH with those around you
- Celebrating happiness will invite more happiness opportunities
- Indulge your 5 senses in experiencing the generous and reciprocal effect of SELFISH on you and your world:
- –With happiness that stems from within you, you will be able to naturally share it with those around you… and sharing ‘happy’ will nurture ‘happy’
- –When you are happy you can make someone else happy; making someone else happy will make you happy

- Start a growing gratitude journal/ bucket. Refer to it to help you appreciate and attract more positive thoughts, feelings, people and circumstances to your life.
