Coaching Model: DECLARE

2019/09/09

A Coaching Model Created by Laura Sheehan
(Career Coach, JAPAN)

Decide.

To be an active participant in setting your life course.

How did you come to be here?  Where would you like to go next?

Examine and Evaluate.

Your past. What have you learned along the way? What skills have you built?

What challenges have you overcome?

Clarify.

Your goals.  If you could do anything, what would it be? Think BIG!

You could do ANYTHING!

Leverage.

Your Skills and Experiences. How can you contribute to your current community?

What needs can you fill?  What opportunities excite you?

Announce.

Your intentions, your new direction. Until you say it out loud, it remains a secret hope, hidden from the world. The seed of an idea can be planted but will not grow until it comes into the light.

Reclaim.

Your sense of self.  Though your relationships are important, you are you…and that identity stands on its own.  How can you change the way you introduce yourself to better reflect who you are as an individual?

Embrace.

Where and who you are now.  How can you shift your focus from what might have been to what could be?  What titles or roles can you shed in order to allow for new growth?

Your “I AM.”  Know exactly who you are wherever you are.
