Coaching Model: Strengthening Leadership

2013/12/10

A Coaching Model created by Kathryn Scanland
(Executive and Leadership Coaching, UNITED STATES)

We cannot become what we need to be remaining what we are.  Max DePree

Strengthening Leadership is a coaching model developed to strengthen leadership behaviors, sharpen performance, and enhance the capacity to lead.  We want our clients to become authentic, purposeful leaders.  Therefore, the model is strengths-based, focusing on who you are and the unique characteristics and traits that define your leadership style.  We recommend that clients focus on enhancing one area and then repeat the same LEAD process outlined below for additional areas to hone and sharpen.

The Strengthening Leadership coaching model addresses specific leadership challenges deliberately and intentionally.  The coaching experience will be a holistic approach where the coach with the client, examines the situation, creates a plan of action, and works side by side to gain commitment and instill lasting change.
