AWARENESS CREATION
Through a process of listening, powerful questioning, using techniques such as visualization, or mind calming, sharing of insights, metaphors and examples, the coach helps the client
- explore his goal in depth
- relate the goal’s connection with his values/ strengths and purpose
- unearth any underlying belief that have a bearing on the goal
The resultant outcome of this stage is awareness or a discovery of what is coming in the way of the goal. The hurdle could be a negative emotion connected with the outcome, or a disempowering mental thought, judgment or belief or an inability to act because of the lack of a structure or the lack of a supportive environment for action.
SHIFT
➥Perspective shift
The new awareness brings a different energy and the potential to move forward. The client is now ready to make the shift in perspective to a positive emotion, or to an objective mental state or to action, which releases him from the disempowering state.
➥Tracking the triangle
At this stage, tracking the triangle reveals that the client’s emotions, mind and body are in total alignment thus signaling readiness to work towards the goal.

What does he think about achievability of the goal?

TRANSFORMATION
In this aligned state, the client is willing and ready to take action with the support of the required structures.
