A Coaching Model Created by Donna Willis

Donna_Willis_coachingmodel2Prism:

a medium that distorts, slants, or colors whatever is viewed through it

Donna_Willis_coachingmodel13A triangular prism can separate white light into its constituent colors by refracting each different wavelength of light by a different amount. The longer wavelengths (those at the red end of the spectrum) are bent the least, the shorter ones (those at the violet end) the most. The result is the spectrum of visible light, or the rainbow.

The longer wavelengths (those at the red end of the spectrum) are bent the least, the shorter ones (those at the violet end) the most. The result is the spectrum of visible light, or the rainbow.

I repeat the statement above for a reason. Let’s look at that aspect in the scope of our lives and desire to shift within the Prism/Chakra spectrum.

Donna_Willis_coachingmodel3The base or survival aspects of our lives do NOT expand greatly through the prism principle. Why? Because these are rudimentary “needs” of our being and are automatic. Breathing, Eating, Sleeping, etc.

Yet interestingly enough – our spirituality, our love, our communication  are in the upper levels of the Prism/Chakra and have the greatest possibility of expansion.

Perception:

What we believe we see based on our experiences through memories

Donna_Willis_coachingmodel5

  • Begin to become aware of ones perceptions of life and of themselves
  • Exam how their life is viewed through these perceptions
  • Exam how life and others view them through these perceptions
