Siddharth Arora, Sales Coach
Sid has worked professionally across different functions (Accounts, Research, Consulting and Sales) and geographies (India, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan and Australia). He is married and has 2 beautiful girls; loves to run long distances, hit the gym and play Table Tennis. Originally from India he now resides in Hong Kong.
1. Why did you become a coach?
As a background I have been a big beneficiary of coaching having been a client for well over 5 years. It was the benefit I received from coaching that I made me want to share and contribute to others growth and development. Hence this realisation made me decide to become a coach.
2. How did you discover your niche and how do you use it to find clients?
Given my over 15 years experience in the corporate sector and last 7-8 years in Sales (something that I am equally as passionate about as coaching), I thought of blending both "Sales" and "Coaching" and decided to build my niche around Sales Coaching.
3. Who are/will be your clients?
Well for now my clients will be mostly executives who are working in my team in my day-job - these are people who are sales executives, sales managers and sales leaders who have the desire to reach their highest potential.
4. Do you offer blended coaching?
My intention is to leverage my skills developed during my ICA journey in my current role as a sales leader and help my team achieve their highest potential.
5. Describe your experience at ICA?
The one and half years spent in this school of coach training and peer coaching has been one of the most rigorous and satisfying self exploratory experiences for me. I engaged with not just the best coaches globally but made dozens of friends across the globe during this wonderful journey!
