Coaching is my IKIGAI
A Research Paper By Ivana Braam
Overseas Filipino Workers Coach, NETHERLANDS
I am going to explain in this “Ikigai research paper” How coaching allowed me to discover why I was determined to take action as quickly as possible. This research paper examines the notion of Ikigai, its context, its past, and the frames that surround it. This study elaborates on a particular concept and explains the steps involved in discovering one’s purpose in life. Via the notion of Ikigai, which promises to discover meaning and pleasure in one’s life via coaching, this article hopes to motivate and encourage people who are going through a tough time to think that it is possible to build their path. The path to discovering one’s Ikigai might alter over time based on various situations in life.
The VIBE Coaching Model
A Coaching Model By Ivana Braam
Overseas Filipino Workers Coach, NETHERLANDS
Appreciative inquiry and positive psychology concepts are the main focuses of the VIBE Coaching Model. The VIBE Coaching Model will provide you the confidence to focus on your strengths rather than your flaws and to acknowledge and value these special qualities. It will cause an attitude to change from one of negativity to one of confidence and optimism. It is a paradigm that focuses on several turning points in a coach-client’s journey. The acronym for the four distinct moments of truth in a person’s life—verification, impetus, ballgame, and end goal.—is the VIBE Coaching Model. Because it’s non-linear, you might not always experience these moments of truth in a coaching session in the order that they occur.
The FUEL Coaching Model
A Coaching Model By Leslie Dorrans
Executive Coach, UNITED STATES
The FUEL coaching model—which was first presented by Kathleen Stinnett and John Zenger in their book The Extraordinary Coach—is based on research on positive psychology, which is my area of expertise, and is quite successful in bringing about a long-lasting change. The concept is highly adaptable and can be customized to the needs of specific individuals. The FUEL model’s capacity to enable people to accept personal responsibility for their own lives and to recognize what they can and cannot control is, in my opinion, one of its most crucial features. Additionally applicable to a wide range of subjects, from easy to difficult, is the model. Many of my personal life’s goals and convictions align well with the FUEL coaching model.
Reframing Perspective FlipIt Coaching Framework
A Case Study By Marianna Chantziara
Career Coach, GREECE
The FlipIt coaching framework made a big difference in how my client approached his problems. It helped him move through the structured stages from a mindset of dependence and doubt to one of empowerment and confidence. Beyond that, the “FlipIt” assisted both my client and me in delving deeper into viewpoints and feelings. Thanks to this model, he was able to see the value of relying on his talents, which enabled him to engage in deep introspection. The program offered a structure for introspection and practical measures, resulting in a transformation that unlocked his capacity for development.

The BUTTERFLY Coaching Model
A Coaching Model By Eunju Im
Career Coach, AUSTRIA
I created my butterfly coaching model with inspiration from the symbolism of butterflies. A butterfly is a sign of metamorphosis, hope, and adaptability to change in my coaching style. It also denotes lightness, and the ability to soar to anywhere the clients want to go. You may feel safe, comfortable, and secure, while you are in your comfort zone, which is similar to living in a cocoon. It also appears that residing in a little cocoon is quite acceptable. However, living in a cocoon becomes too constrained and narrow when you have goals you want to accomplish and aspirations you want to develop. It requires a great deal of bravery to leave your comfort zone to pursue your goals.

The complete REFLECT Coaching Model emphasizes each person’s distinctive path. It empowers people to successfully cope with challenges in their own lives and encourages people on a path to self-awareness, resilience, and ultimately fulfillment. Explain to the client the importance of each stage and how it can help their development. The client is in a position to grow and develop even after the coaching sessions with the help of the REFLECT Coaching Model.
The Spiral Staircase Coaching Model
A Coaching Model By Sarah Lupton
Leadership Coach, UNITED STATES
With the help of the spiral staircase coaching model, clients can objectively examine the results and then analyze them to find tips on how to access the next staircase. It works best with clients you are working with across several sessions, and it is especially useful when the client recognizes a deeply ingrained habit they are determined to break to form new habits that are more in line with their objectives. Applying the spiral staircase model can help achieve both concrete goals such as weight loss and abstract goals such as increasing self-esteem. Since this concept works best in a long-term coaching relationship, I tested it for over a year with a client I worked with.
