SHOW UP Life Coaching Model Emily Cornell

A Coaching Model By Emily Cornell
Life Coach, UNITED STATES

This SHOW UP Model concept is based on my professional and personal experience. Appreciative Inquiry, a strength-based approach to organizational change established at Case Western University, as well as concepts from Design Thinking, a human-centered approach to innovation, and the work of Dr. Brené Brown, a research professor at the University of Houston, are all incorporated. This SHOW UP model represents a certain phase in my coaching career. It’s a framework that’s functional right now and could be useful in the future. But I’m writing this with the understanding that if I’m going to actually emerge as a coach, I have to be open to my own development, and that model can and likely will develop over time.

Employee Burnout: How Coaching Can Support Individuals and Organisations

Burnout Research Paper- Doris Bisaro

A Research Paper By Doris Bisaro
Well-Being Coach, ITALY

The new epidemic is work burnout. In the age of hybrid work, businesses cannot let their guard down when it comes to mental health and wellbeing if they want to maintain employee engagement and productivity. According to recent research, organizations must address the toxic culture that fosters burnout in order to address this condition on a systemic level. On the other hand, we see a wide range of personal solutions, such as coaching. In my research paper, I examine both strategies and show how they are not mutually exclusive. A systemic approach to burnout prevention would be advantageous, but early detection and recovery from a burnout also heavily depend on people’s ability to come up with coping mechanisms for their manifestations of this condition, which is becoming more and more common.

What To Do When Work Isn’t Working: Career Transitions & Finding Support

Career Transitions Research Paper- Lucy Todd

A Research Paper By Lucy Todd
Career Transition, UNITED STATES

There is a ton of research on career expectations, job satisfaction, and employment. To put it mildly, there are almost as many different attitudes toward work as there are jobs in the world. Only the most recent studies that are pertinent to a US audience were used in this “Career Transitions” article. But each of us is a distinct person with our own experiences, priorities, and values. Hence, even those who find their own region or demographics represented in the surveys may not find the information described in this article to be relevant. Yet, this article has demonstrated that, whether we want them to be or not, many of us see our jobs as more than just a source of income.

Coaching Leadership Style Research Papers - Kalliopi Koufopoulou

A Research Paper By Kalliopi Koufopoulou
Life Coach, UNITED KINGDOM

According to Berg & Karlsen (2016), a coaching leadership style is one that “supports and challenges colleagues with the aim of helping them achieve individual development goals.” What do you suggest in place of the “I say, you do” approach when using this leadership style? 2018’s Eden Project Leaders develop their communication skills by sharing, interacting, and paying attention to the team. Employees are given the chance to capitalize on their strengths, develop their skills, and receive credit for their accomplishments. By acting as both guides and observers, leaders assist their teams in understanding the objectives behind what they are doing. They feel at ease handing off responsibility and letting people handle the work on their own.
