Nobody Has Ever Died From Being Too Confident

2015/03/10

Confidence is so important, both in business and in life. If you don’t have confidence you are never going to put yourself forward, try new things, reach just that little bit further. These are all things a coach can help you with of course, but even better is to work on developing your OWN confidence.

In this video Merci looks at WHAT confidence is (partly it is just being aware of your strengths and weaknesses), WHY it is so important and then HOW to develop more confidence as a coach.

Action Steps

  1. Think about something you have been meaning to do for ages. Everybody has something like this. It will be something you KNOW will propel your coaching or your business forward, but you have been hesitant to take action on. (for all sorts of reasons)
  2. What is the smallest part of that thing? the first step, or one aspect. Take that and action it this week
  3. Finally to keep yourself accountable tell someone, anyone, what you are going to do. You can tell your coach, or a friend, or, if you are an ICA Coach go into the forum and hook up with a Peer Coach and tell them. The main thing is to make sure you have someone other than yourself to make you accountable and support you through the process.
